The second born to his mother and first born to his father (R.I.P.). Coming from a single parent home as many young black males in America have, News had to look up to the O.G.’s in the neighborhood to show him how to survive. News started writing raps off and on, at the age of 14. Through music, he has always felt it necessary to report the “goings on” in the hood. The first cousin of Phoenix, Arizona’s “DTP” rap artist “Willy Northpole”, News has maintained his individuality. There has been many that have come before him, with their version of gangsta rap but, News is determined to show the rap world his relevance. Some talk/rap about that “G” life but, News has lived it! Therefore, he is more than qualified to speak about it. News is very versatile, he writes, raps and produces. Welcome to his world… -
