Television
I've basically stopped watching television, except for baseball (Red Sox). Here are some shows that i've enjoyed: "The Newsroom," "Alias," "Arrested Development," "Family Guy," "Monty Python's Flying Circus," "Blackadder" (especially the second series), "Fawlty Towers," "The Monkees," "Absolutely Fabulous," "Police Squad," "The Muppet Show" and "thirtysomething." Also, "Sports Night," "Action," and "It's Like You Know" (none of which lasted very long). Another underrated show is "She Spies." If you can, pick up the first season on DVD.
Books
Favorite authors include Kurt Vonnegut (especially "Cat's Cradle" and "Slapstick"), Tom Robbins (especially "Jitterbug Perfume"), Henry Miller, the Marquis de Sade, Anais Nin, Virginia Woolf, F. Scott Fitzgerald, John Irving (especially "The Hotel New Hampshire" and "The World According To Garp"), Richard Brautigan, John Cheever, Raymond Carver, Vladimir Nabokov (especially "Lolita"), Brett Easton Ellis, Lawrence Durrell (The Alexandria Quartet), Philip Roth, Gabriel Garcia-Marquez, and Leopold Von Sacher-Masoch (though the only book of his that i've read is "Venus In Furs")...................
Heroes
I have no heroes. Sorry, folks.

Clubs: What, are you kidding me? I think i might have started a Monty Python club. Apart from that, who the hell knows? Hey, is that Monty Python club still going?
About me: Right now I'm working on a documentary film about one of my favorite bands. We started shooting on May 20th. This is a long-term project. I'm also trying to get another film produced - a dark comedy I wrote a few years ago. If you can help, please contact me. I also have a romantic comedy that I'm trying to sell. That has been my focus as of late.
Other than that, i teach theatre at a camp for children with special needs. Also, i photograph a lot of bands.
Who I'd like to meet: On saturday, june 24th, 2006, i met Leonard Cohen. He was number one on my short list of people i'd really like to meet. And now i've met him. He was at a special screening of the new documentary, "Leonard Cohen: I'm Your Man." Martha Wainwright performed before the movie, and Leonard Cohen spoke. After the movie i managed to get backstage, and met the man himself. He signed the liner notes to my copy of "Dear Heather." He was so kind, so gentlemanly, so warm, so bright. And guess what, folks: he told me that he's really thinking of going on tour again. Hurrah!
There aren't many other famous people i'd like to meet. I really wanted to meet Kurt Vonnegut, and his death has hit me harder than i would have imagined. I feel like this world has taken one more step in the wrong direction. Sure, there are still voices of dissent out there, but where is the optimism? Where is the humor? Whenever i'm in a bad mood, or feeling sad, i can take basically any Vonnegut book off the shelf, open it to any page, start reading and feel better. What other author has that effect?
Well, i would like to meet Boy George, Bud Cort, Cyndi Lauper and some hot older woman in a fur coat with a whip. Okay?
Awwww man... I'm so glad you dug it. Such a terrifying moment to bring something so fresh and still in formation out into the world. But MAN was that a loving atmosphere last night! Couldn't have picked a safer place to debut it! :-)
