    Legendary Funk artist Bootsy Collins once said to an aspiring MC by the name of Fyce, "If you have funk you have style sounds like you got both". Born Chris Jones in the winter of 1987, Fyce commenced emceeing at a very young age. His aspirations as a poet eventually led to writing profound lyrics over miraculous beats. Melding the essence of hardcore hip hop and in the styles of Krs-One, Scarface, Redman, etc. Fyce combines the very best of hip hop and poetry, while entertaining and captivating audiences with his sincerity and power. Currently working on the release of "The Resurgence LP" which concept follows a young man's revival from a rapper to an emcee, Fyce is prepared to astonish fans of hardcore Hip Hop. The first single has yet to be released, although a song titled "Killin' Yourself" off the new album, a smooth track with a straightforward message, was leaked early to online retailers. Fice is currently touring in support of the album. Giving his first dose of exposure by a New York radio station, Fyce landed a film licensing contract with Louar Music using self engineered tracks, an inconceivable task for some. In addition, he is also the CEO of the independent record label Lyric 87 Records. "I started Lyric 87 with a vision, a vision to control my creativity and to let others express and control theirs," says Fyce.
