3200 was formed in early 2004 when Steve and Shea Ronsonette got tired of trying to reform or put back together any semblance of their old band Sibling Rivalry. Struggles with Steve's estranged brother, former Sibling Rivalry's lead guitarist Jordan Ronsonette and once bassist Kenneth Brantley were taking their toll and the group hadn't recorded since Jordan was sent to Iraq.
The plan was to find a guitar player who would be malleable enough to fold himself into the expressive, thought provoking message and original style that over a decade of live experience had given Shea and Steve. The aggressive nature put forward by the music needed an outlet and Myq worked great for the first 2 years.
But the downfalls of rural existence pitched the ultimate curve ball at the band and no bassist was ever found who could play the music and be dependable enough to book gigs with. In the midst of the final strokes of recording the bands debut album, escalating discord fueled by Myq's then finance, drove Shea and Steve to take the band in another direction.
Shortly after Myq's exit, Jordan was wiped out by Katrina and released from military duty. With an empty room and a place for an extra amp in the studio, Shea and Steve reluctantly made the decision to give Jordan another chance.
They chose "Poorly".
Now, nearly 5 years after the naming of the band, Shea and Steve are once again doing their Phoenix imitation.
This time, with no input from outside negativity or ego ridden addicts.... LET US BEGIN AGAIN...
