I’m interested in seeing the world, traveling to far lands or just experiencing new things with people I care about. It really doesn’t take much to entertain me. I take joy in seeing other people happy. I love football.Books

About me:
I guess there's a lot I can say about my journey in life, but where do I start? What would make my journey worth reading about? I'm not so sure it is, but I'll let you be the judge. Just to start, I'm married to the most beautiful woman in the world. A woman of faith and conviction who is a true testimony to me. I find strength in her. She's made me a better man. She challenges me to desire a deeper level in God and who he really is. I've truly found love in her. I have a beautiful son (Micah Stone Landry) who is a true gift from God. I've prayed these last few weeks for strength, wisdom, understanding, and the all consuming fire of God to invade my life. I truly feel an awakening in my spirit. I pray this to God for I know I need it more than ever before. I was raised in a home with a single grandmother and two older brothers. I lost my mother to a heart attack at the age of two and my dad wasn't around till I was about 10 or 11. So I missed out on a lot I understand. But if I could only count how many times I was awakened at night by the cries and prayers of a broken hearted woman. A woman who had lost everything, the death of two daughters, bankrupcies, a divorce from an verbally abusive husband and so much more. To think things couldn't get any harder she was called to raise us three young boys without any money and as little as a third grade education. What seemed like a mess then seems so divine now. So every time I come across unfamiliar times in my life I just look back in time at those nights in my house as a boy and know things seemed impossible then too but God always answered my poor grandmother's cries for help. With all that said. I thank God for my family he's blessed me with. I don't believe I'm any better or worse than the next person. I always give the utmost thanks to God for no other reason than he deserves the praise. I have many shortcomings. I've always walked my path of life by a quote I once heard: "You will lead me or you will follow me, but you will not stand in my way". I'm on this journey to my promised land and I refuse to let anyone or anything stand in my way. I would be a liar if i told you I haven't stumbled and fallen short many times. If anyone could tell you about the struggles of life it would be me and if you have the time one day maybe we can discuss it over a couple cups of coffee. I'll tell you all about pain, loss, joy, love, and happiness. For all of you who think I haven't walked far enough down the path, let me tell you, I could teach some of you old dogs new tricks. To all who reads this; don't think I wrote this for pity or a pat on the back. I tell you this to let you know life is very fair in the way it's unfair to us all. So, pick up your head, it's OK to crawl sometimes. For others get up, brush the dirt off, set your eyes back on the mark, and lets do this thing. If you're behind me, here's my hand if you need. If you're in front of me, don't worry, I'm on my way. To you who think you can stand in my way, think again...So when will your journey began? P.S. Thank you Lord for such a great example of Christ in my grandmother.Who I'd like to meet:
