Hi! I just wanted to share with you a vision I had a while ago. It starts on a warm California afternoon. You're minding your own business perusing the aisles at your local Container Store, when... out of nowhere pops out Stacy and Clinton of What Not To Wear! You are of course frazzled since you were only expecting to add a brand new container to hold 16oz soups. To your surprise, Stacy and Clinton make you aware that you have been filmed for a whole week! Gasp!! They ask you if you are willing to go to New York and get a new wardrobe, but how can you think so far ahead when you haven't even paid for your assortment of containers?!?

So you're walking outside of the Container Store while Stacy and Clinton continue to request your presence in New York. Next thing you know, a limo drives up right in front of you with the passenger door open when... BAM!!! You feel someone shove you into the limo! Make-over abduction! You look back to see who was the culprit; It's Sara, waving bye to you with a look of satisfaction on her face. You shout to the driver, "Stop, turn the car around!!" The driver lowers the tinted partition. Who is it? That's right, it's me!

Now, you’re in New York. Stacy and Clinton are explaining to you the rules of What Not To Wear and how to spend your money.
But how can you listen, when you’re wondering how you’re going to survive in New York without your excel spreadsheet of DVR recordings?

Part II

Fast-forward to the morning of your big shopping trip. Stacy and Clinton have thrown out most of your wardrobe, save for the clothes you are wearing. You have your Visa in hand and you’re ready for your big day of shopping. Or are you? As you browse through each department store, you can’t help but wonder, “Is there anything out there that represents my age demographic or any other demographic?” The simple answer is no! There’s nothing for you in New York. What are you to do?

Stacy and Clinton have lost you. You’re strolling down the streets of New York when you find paradise! A row of stores that really speak to you: Best Buy, The Container Store, Blockbuster, and Wal-Mart. Hurrah! After 12 hours of manic shopping, you return to your hotel room, feeling accomplished and in high spirits. You managed to cook 15 pounds of beef that you bought on sale in a microwave and store them in your new containers, installed TiVo and recorded all your shows, and bought 20 DVDs (only 4 of which you like) for only $40.00!!!

Stacy and Clinton barge in, demanding an explanation, but you tell them that they’re disturbing your viewing of CSI: Miami. Resigned to the fact that they can do nothing more, they gorge themselves with the remaining 15 pounds of beef you prepared and sit through hours of TiVo recordings and mediocre movies you purchased from Blockbuster. Stacy and Clinton, broken and defeated, quit their jobs and are never heard from again.
