White Zombie was almost entirely the vision of their larger-than-life singer, Rob Zombie. Hence, the White Zombie story begins with good ol' Rob (who was then known as Rob Cummings), shortly after he relocated from his hometown of Haverhill MA, to New York City during the early '80s. Although he had long admired such theatrical metallists as Kiss and Alice Cooper (as well as such punk outfits as the Ramones), Rob wasn't quick to form a group in the Big Apple; instead he worked as a production assistant on the TV show Pee Wee's Playhouse and did art design for magazines. By 1985 however, Rob opted to pursue a career in music and united with then-girlfriend/bassist Sean Yseult and formed White Zombie Over 10 years in the Underground NYC scene they moved to LA and released two majors albums.
In 1997, White Zombie disbanded and now he runs his own solo carrier and has several albums out under Rob Zombie name.
Jay Yuenger aka J (1989.03~ to end)
J. was born "Jay Noel Yuenger" in Chicago, Illinois. Since He joined White Zombie band, the band started to explose.
His style is typical, heavy synch rhythm, minimalist lead but special sound that get along so good with Zombie
Sean Yseult (1985.10 / )
Sean Yseult citizen name is Shauna Reynolds (June, 6 1965 in North Carolina - Zodiac:Gemini- thunderkiss 1965 ?)
In 1985, they formed White Zombie. Sean picked up the bass when White Zombie first started. Originally she planed on playing the guitar.
She switched to bass after she found learning guitar was harder than she had originally thought.
Her first bass was called a Phantom (she picked it because there was a little ghost on the headstock)
When she was White Zombie Bass player (from 1st to last record) , she said that she doesn't consider herself being good because she "just hit the strings and it sounds good"
Ivan de Prume is a heavy metal drummer best known for his work in the groove metal band White Zombie.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, de Prume met Rob Zombie (Rob Cummings) and recorded Pig Heaven in 1986. All in all, de Prume performed almost all the White Zombie albums from Pig Heaven to the double-platinum hit record La Sexorcisto: Devil Music, Vol. 1.Ivan de Prume left the band in 1992 to pursue a career as producer and studio owner.
John Tempesta (ex Exodus, ex Testament)
John was born August 19, 1963 in Bronx, New York, He joined the band after Sexorsisto tour... and "Unless he's an axe murderer and we don't know about it, I think he's definitely the one," said J. So is reposible for the drums of AstroCreep He get along well with Rob and keep Working w/ Rob Zombie solo band as a drummer.

White Zombie is an American band named after the 1932 film White Zombie, which starred Bela Lugosi.
Based in New York, White Zombie was originally a noise rock band in the vein of fellow New York band Sonic Youth; Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore and fellow alternative rock icon Kurt Cobain have professed to be fans of their early work.
White Zombie was known for combining heavy metal music with driving guitar riffs, overlaid with lyrics heavily influenced by horror films and pseudo-Satanic imagery. Unlike other metal bands of the 1990s, White Zombie was almost exclusively a "fantasy" band, writing songs not about real life, but about surreal horror fantasies.
The group officially disbanded in 1998 shortly after the release of singer Rob Zombie's solo album Hellbilly Deluxe.
After ten years apart, Sean Yseult, J. (Jay Yuneger) and Ivan de Prume have decided to reunite White Zombie. Sources close to the band say that Rob Zombie will not be coming back. "The band have asked for Rob to come back but he has no interest. But the band wants to get this band back on the road, so a new singer is being searched for. There are a few singers in mind. But no one has been auditioned as of yet," says Jason Ridman band publicist. They have some choices for a new singer which include Scum Of The Earth vocalist/guitarist Riggs. No shows as of yet are planned. They will be pushing to have something ready by the beginning of 2009.
