Bio
.... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .. This a fan page dedicated to the early 1990's Louisville, Kentucky band Evergreen. Coming up out of Louisville's south end, they managed to blend a very favorable mix of rocknroll through reggae, punk, and metal. They gained support in the beginning from Self Destruct Records. Self Destruct was once a Louisville record label dedicated to Louisville bands owned by former Kinghorse bassist Mike Bucayu. Those who were fond of the Evergreen band we're seriously loyal and we decided to make a page. If you have anything to contribute to this page by ways of photo, sound, video, and/or fliers, send a message this way please. The music on this profile is uploaded with written permission from a former band member of the now defunct act. WE'LL BE POSTING MORE STUFF HERE SOON including some later stuff from the band when the line up changed. Enjoy. .. .. .. .. .. 10 of 19MoreThe UnFair is just around the corner people...the first weekend of October. As always, it will be located behind the Mag Bar on 2nd street and Magnolia. It will be going on during the same time as The St James' Art Fair. Come see some REAL local artists.
Also, on October 9, 2009, I will be having my first solo art show at Liberty Tattoo & Art Parlor. 7-10pm is the time and it's located on the corner of 3rd street and M street by UofL. I will be showing new works and some from private collections. Some prints will be available only at the opening. I hope to see you all there.
Adios,
W. Dave Pollard, ghostcatstudio
I would love to thank everyone who came out to the eVergreen reunion show and cd release on Saturday nite. I had such a blast and I hope all of you did too. We had a lot of obstacles and many hurdles to leap to get this accomplished, but we did it! Thanks to Brandon & Nathan at Noise Pollution Records for all their time and effort for gathering the material and finally having the cd released. They worked so hard at it and they have my respect and gratitude. Thanks to Sean Roberts and Greg Livingston for stepping up to the plate and making the music possible with Troy and myself. They really rocked it! Thanks to Greg Edwards, Brent Webb, Brian Omer & Cliff Whitehead of Stonecutters, Dave Johnson and the Glasspack ( he did more work than any of you all could've imagined at getting this show together as well), the Genitalmen, and most of all YOU. You guys really gave the energy to the set. Thank you so much. I hope that you all had a blast because I know we did. Take care and thanks.
Fucking Amazing reunion show tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LONG
LIVE
EVERGREEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The discography cd, "Wholeness of the Soul", will be released on September 5, 2009, at the reunion show. The show will be at The Poor Haus here in Louisville,KY. The show will be quite fun.
Also, on October 10,2009, I will be having my solo art show opening which will be at Liberty Tattoo & Art Parlor here in Louisville as well. The art show will consist of pieces from private collections and some new stuff. Prints will be for sale as well as some of the originals (except for the ones from the private collections...those originals will NOT be for sale.) Hope everyone can make it. It is free and opened to the public.
The reunion show.....it has to be seen and experienced. I will give no info on that except that there will be some surprises.
Adios,
W Dave Pollard, vocals of eVergreen/cinderblock and visual assassin of art
re: old photos/fliers

We had practice tonight.....went pretty freakin' well.
Well....it looks like it is going to happen! An eVergreen reunion show!
Could it actually be happening?
