B's Interests
|
| General | Victorian Poetry by enlarge- but I also appreciate Anne and Sylvia, and EMILY (perhaps most of all), anything with circuitry that has the potential to give me a headache (I stress- "with circuitry"), Akitas, Thai food, Grey Goose...Obsessive women- because, you know, why the fuck bother with a normal relationship? Cute dead things (fledglings, fawns, those fucking cookie girls), Sashimi, The quest for a regular sleep cycle (or limitless wealth- I'm not sure which is more important). Oh- and as a corollary, nocturnal people.
| | Music | I'll try to run the gamut quickly. Blanche, Hootie, Panzer-AG (Thanks Fuji), OTEP, Breaking Benjamin, Collide, Rage- oh God do I miss Rage, Bloodsimple, Concrete Blonde (just a little), The Clash, Killswitch, Pennywise... | | Movies | Casshern was cool (thanks Fuji), older Guy Ritchey (Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels), The Italian Job, Boondock Saints (mostly for the exploding cat), Stargate, The Marvel movies, Great Expectations (shut up), Why haven't they updated Dorian Gray since 1945? Bleh- maybe they shouldn't, gross America wouldn't understand it anyhow, Memento, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, The Princess Bride, Labyrinth, Alien, Sexy Beast, Louis Black: Black on Broadway- Just saw Memoirs of a Geisha, it was good- but it should have been dubbed in Japanese. I guess it wouldn't make sense for the lead character to be speaking Cantonese- not that most people would notice. | | Television | Yeah- I'm a Sci-Fi slut; Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG-1, SG Atlantis...Farscape. | | Books | William James' Pragmatism lectures

About me:
57005 Inside- or you were never alive.
Dim as the borrowed beams of moon and stars
To lonely, weary, wandering travellers
Is reason to the soul

Cattle Mocking Fun for the Week:
-Try this experiment. While in a loose pack of traffic, swerve your car slooowly a few feet from the center of the road and keep it there. Watch to see if the people behind you follow suit. If so- moo from the window.
