About me:

I'm a cat person to the core. I don't "hate" dogs, but I prefer them to not be around me all the time. I'm an avid reader, so I'm really good at it (that is a bad joke isn't it?). I enjoy people watching and surfing the internet for useless information that may some day be the winning answer on Jeopardy. I'm a recovering legal professional, in spite of its quirks, I still love the law and look forward to returning to it in the future as I have plans to eventually break into advocacy law and screw over corporate America after supporting it by shopping at all the chain outfitters in the country. With any luck, this will make me gator food.

As a hopeless liberal, I enjoy watching Bill Maher although his book, "New Rules' was a waste of 30 minutes I could have spent staring out of the airplane window. I think I chuckled once or twice. Thus, I'm a news junky and can't seem to turn off NPR in the car or put down a good New York Times article.

Somewhere hidden deep within me is a drug fiend hooker that’s trying to escape, although I don't actually use drugs due to the sensitive nature of my employment (i.e. the random golden lottery) but I do hope to someday live the life of Courtney Love minus the suicidal husband, spoiled child and biographer who hates me.

Speaking of Courtney Love's biographer, I'm a big Poppy Z. Brite fan. I realize most of her work is sometimes juvenile, but every now and again I need something other than “Crime and Punishment”-type novels. I've collected many of her books in first edition and signed and such which makes me a bigger dork than I meant to be when I was cool. I've realized they merely collect dust, but they do make me smile when I pull them from the shelf and look at the inscriptions.

I'm not much for sports, but I do try to get regular updates from the lesbians that are close to me in order to keep me from looking like a total fag when someone says, "How about them Cowboys?". Responding with, "I'd like to saddle up a few of them" turned out to be to my detriment on numerous occasions. I have friends all over the world yet no one I regularly get to spend time with thanks to my schedule and theirs.

I've recently developed a digital editing fetish thanks to the installation of Photoshop on my PC and hope to someday use the digital revolution to my advantage so I can become a drug addicted artist living in a nice New York City flat with a door man who doubles as a dealer – a boy can dream can’t he? In the meantime, I’ll live the conservative life I’ve come to enjoy, kick back in my hammock or stick my feet into the Medina River and read a book I’ve read a dozen times just so I can become one of those people that quotes Thomas Moore or Tori Spelling.

I’m a pacifist by nature and a neurotic by default (I am a homosexual after all). I’m not trying to use myspace.com to meet new prostitutes in my area, so please spare me the trouble if you are looking for me to purchase your services. However, should you need someone to collect 10% of your earnings for doing nothing, please do not hesitate to send me an email.
