Kaitlyn T. Cattey, 19, of Elmore, Ohio, passed away February 6, 2008. She was born in Columbus, Ohio, on January 28, 1989, to Patrick Cattey and Michele Bales. Kaitlyn was employed by the Boilermaker's Union. She belonged to the Ottawa County 4H Club and showed horses at various events. Kaitlyn loved writing poetry, enjoyed bow hunting, and was a member of Bono Baptist Church. Surviving are her son, Owen Cattey-Hayes; mother, Michele (Tim) Swan, Elmore, OH; father, Patrick (Patti) Cattey, Columbus, OH; brothers, David Cattey and Cullin Liskai; sister, Lydia Liskai; grandparents, David and Sharon Cattey and Betsy and Jerry Powell; dear friend, Shane Timmons and his family along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by grandfather, Michael H. Bales. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, on Monday, February 11, 2008, from 2-8 p.m. with a funeral service to be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy in Kaitlyn's memory can be made to the Owen Cattey-Hayes Trust Fund at any 5/3 bank office. My name is Kaitlyn and I have a son whom I love very much. His name is Owen and he was born on December 7, 2006. I'm a thrill seeker and I love God. I love my family and I wish I could be closer to them. I can be pretty judgemental and jelous at times but I'm only human. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I'm not perfect either and remember that only God has the right to judge anyone. I love to be friendly and hang out but I also like my space. Yes there are times when I really do just need to be left alone. I'm simple but complicated. I'm strong but I'm weak. I'm stubborn but very soft hearted. I really do love my life.
