About me: Nymphadora Tonks is a member of the Order of the Phoenix and an Auror of the Ministry of Magic. Her skills as a Metamorphmagus are invaluable to the Order, but her clumsiness lets her down at times.
Nymphadora is the daughter of Ted Tonks and Andromeda Tonks, niece of Bellatrix Lestrange and Narcissa Malfoy and second cousin, once removed of Sirius Black.
Nymphadora was a Hufflepuff while in Hogwarts. She stated in book 5 that she was not a prefect due to her inability to behave. But despite her lack of self-control, Nymphadora must have been a bright student to become an auror.
In the Summer of 1995 she managed to get the Dursleys away so the Order could escort Harry to the Order Headquarters. Her skills as a Metamorphmagus are also useful, but have only been mentioned in fun. She was involved in the fight at the Ministry during Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and was seriously injured.
Later on her Patronus changed to a werewolf, which was later revealed to have happened due to her feelings towards Remus Lupin.
Just before Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows begins, she marries Remus Lupin and later that year, they have a child, Teddy Lupin. Approximately nine to twelve weeks after he is born, both parents are killed at the Battle of Hogwarts.

"I believe he is," Remus said, bouncing the baby in his arms. "But, we should probably wait to feed him until after we get to Molly and Arthurs. Otherwise, the aftermath will be all over the place," he said, smirking slightly. Projectial vomiting, especially with babies, was never a fun affair.

"Sure, let's do that," Remus nodded in agreement, adjusting Teddy who had began to fuss. "He knows what we're about to do, I think," Remus smirked. Teddy didn't much like Apperation. The only other time he had done it was to go visit Andromeda and Ted. He hadn't liked it at all.
"She'll mollycoddle and dote on him no doubt," he smiled. "You'd like that, wouldn't you, Teddy? Would you like Mummy and Daddy to take you out?" he cooed to the baby. Teddy gurbled, a toothless little smile on his face. "Did you see that, Dora? He smiled!" Remus said excitedly. For, that was his first smile.
"It took me a while to adjust to Mad-Eye too," he chuckled. "I believe you're right," A thought popped into his head. "Say, Dora...how would you feel if we went to The Burrow this afternoon? No one's really seen us since before the baby was born, and Molly, in the few times she's written since, has been rather persistant on the idea,"
"You're welcome," Remus replied, returning her smile. At the mention of her wanting to get out of the house, Remus nodded, his expression turning from cheerful to reminisent, with a hint of bitterness. "It will only be a matter of time, Dora, you'll see. It's just like last time...." he said quietly.
"I'll fix it," Remus smiled. He drew out his wand, and with his Teddy-free hand, flicked it. "Scourgify," he said. All at once, the kitchen was clean again. "Better?"
Remus fallowed suit, standing aswell, though being careful not to make any sudden movements so he wouldn't wake Teddy. "Well, thank you Severus, for the information, and my potion," Remus said cheerfully.
"Alright," Remus said placidly, relieved that there was no information about them floating around. He looked at Dora, then, at Teddy, who had fallen asleep.
