Aura es un grupo a capella integrado por 4 voces femeninas: Desirée Durán, Lynn Gaydosh, Maria Cavaller y Llucia Gomila. Empezamos a cantar juntas hace dos años, primero en bodas y fiestas privadas, y después nos animamos a ampliar el repertorio y dar conciertos en diferentes locales de la isla, fiestas de pueblos y diferentes eventos. Según la ocasión vamos acompañadas de percusión (Toni Amengual) y guitarra (Salvador "Txumi"). Nuestro repertorio va desde el gospel más profundo hasta versiones de pop, soul o rock a voces. Maria, Desiree, Llucia and Mary Lynn are the voices of Auraveus, an acapella vocal quartet based in Mallorca Spain.
All four singers bring years of experience to the group from varied musical backgrounds such as choral, gospel, jazz, pop-rock, country, soul, folk and musical theatre. These influences are evident in their unique approach to vocal harmonies and arrangements, as well as the various musical styles included in their repertoire.
At any AURAVEUS performance it becomes clear that the four are close friends who truly enjoy singing together as one harmonious voice. Their manner and style is at once intimate and open, light-hearted yet professional. Whether on a large stage or in a small club, in a grand church or at a small beach cove, those present can feel a special energy, an invitation to enter into the very musical heart of AURAVEUS.
