About me:

I am not a Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Communist or Socialist. I am not a Catholic, Protestant, Muslim, Buddhist, Jew, Scientologist or Mormon. I do not belong to any association, union, club or defined group of any kind. I do not even belong to a gym.
Have I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior? No. Given the abs on that guy, I am more likely to accept him as my personal trainer.

I can't vote in the primaries because I'm not registered with either of the major parties? That's fine.

For every affiliation, membership or association we saddle ourselves with, we take on the baggage of that group. I find that we tend to gather enough baggage of our own as we move through life. So, if you don't mind, you carry yours, and I'll carry mine. That means I get to decide on issues based not on some party-issued scorecard but instead on the merits of each side's argument.

I am not AN Independent. I am simply independent. I am happily unaffiliated.

I am Paul, and that will have to be enough.
