Separating from what has now become the institute of many other young musicians with high hopes, Reading's very own 4 piece hard rock band, Counterpoint is hammering into what is a style of music, too long awaited to rise again in the modern music world of today. Pounding drums, crushing guitars and driving bass lines.

Formed in 2008, British All out straight down the line rock n roll is back, just the way it should be. Counterpoint Have surged onto the scene with an outstanding support and fan base in the U.K, Europe and U.S, penetrating the masses of shows exceeding 2000 people. It's ball's to the walls thriller shows and crowd pleasing guitar solo's in mind for these guy's...

Back in 2008 Counterpoint released their debut E.P On The Razz which was released for a home town video show. 5 months later saw the release of their extended E.P featuring 2 new singles "Nine Lives" and "Cant Breathe" Which gained sensational popularity. After 13 months of the band rocking together, Counterpoint have made a staggering amount of headway achieving over 3.5 Million plays on their page, clearly showing the drive they have to succeed.



Following the success of their U.K Headline tour and new singles during August 2009, Counterpoint were invited to open for the legendary American rock band Shinedown and old friends SOiL, on their 2009 November European tour, along with the signing to Urban Note in Switzerland. In 2010 Counterpoint have recorded their début album 'Alive' due to be released next year and completed a very successful tour supporting Daughtry in Europe. Extensive European and Uk tours are being currently booked for 2011. WATCH THIS SPACE!
