About me:
Hey, my name is Amber Fleury and I have actually had this myspace account for a really long time...since the end of Idol in Season 3...but I just got around to updating my profile NOW...craziness!
I was Top 8 on Season 3 of Canadian Idol...during which I had an absolute blast! I met life-long friends and learned a great deal more than I ever dreamed about the music business! I got to work with a vocal coach for the first time in my life and I was treated like royalty which is something I'm definitely not used to! Haha.
More recently, I formed a trio with my fellow Canadian Idol competitors/friends Casey LeBlanc and Ashley Leitao. We are called "Braided". We also have a myspace, if you wanna check that out...it's www.myspace.com/braidedmusic
Anyway, we had the best time of our lives recording our debut album this year...which is entitled "Casey, Ashley and Amber". Since then, we have done a couple of television appearances and we're about to go on tour in December, which is going to be fantastic! I can't wait to get out and perform our songs live! It's going to be such a trip for all of us! Aside from music, I am just a regular girl who loves to sing karaoke (I'm kind of addicted...LOL), dance, play sports (when I have the time) and just hang out with family and friends.
I have the greatest nephew on the face of the Earth named Pasey! He's mine and my sister's pride and joy...and he's already having his first birthday this year...wow, time sure flies!
I'm a very kind-hearted, genuine person who loves to live and loves to laugh! Family and friends come first for me...always have...and my passion in life will always be music! I live to sing and have tried to be passionate about other things...like my day job for example...but it just doesn't seem to cut it for me somehow...
Anyway, I just wanted to say a little bit about myself cuz I never filled this part out before, so that's me in a nutshell...so yeah...

Celine Dion, Bryan Adams, Elton John, Paul McCartney (HUGE Beatles fan...), John Fogarty, Roxette, Mary Chapin-Carpenter, Wynonna (would LOVE to tour with her, because she's one of the most awesome vocalists I've ever heard, not to mention she's COOL), Trisha Yearwood, Tanya Tucker (childhood idol of mine), Merle Haggard, Cyndi Lauper, Rascall Flatts, Shenandoah, Alabama, Jann Arden...the list goes on and on...
