KBT began in 1998 with the E.P. called KING BISCUIT TIME SINGS NELLY FOGGITS BLUES IN ME AND THE PHARAOH'S. KBT is STEVE MASON, also known for his songwriting in the Beta Band and more recently with the electro pop of Black Affair. With 2 E.P's and the album BLACK GOLD already loved by MILLIONS the world over , KBT will return to the path in 2009.
An untitled album is already in production. Mixing acoustic guitar/ dub bass/ 808 rhythm's with his usual touch of lyrical beauty, sadness and quiet rage. This album will
bring your villages, towns and citys to a standstill. Men will cry and women will swoon.

Funny, I saw a few KBT shows just post-Beta then my estimation shot up and my attention was demanded when someone explained C.I.AM.I.5 - just struck me as quite fantastic - big fan of intelligent politics in music...
I finally finished up a project I have been working on closely with my homie DJ Trippin' over the past few months. The idea was to take a handful of my freestyles, studio tracks, and b-sides I've recorded over the last year and combine them all to a 1 track mix.
