James Hart is known from the extraordinary rock band, Eighteen Visions, and as we all know, the band split in April of 2007.

For fan’s, it was a tragic time and many dread knowing they would not hear their favorite band play again.

Fortunately, though we all should have known, James Hart pulled through and announced a solo project.

Having 12 songs written and almost done with the recording, James said in his latest blog, Many of you have been wondering the status of the album. Where I am at in the process of things. I can tell you that the album is finally mixed. I have 12 great tracks all mixed by the very talented Chris "Lord" Alge….We are going to look for a mastering date sometime early next week. That is the top priority right now. As for a release date...I would like the album to be complete… I want to make sure the release of the album is spot on. Timing is everything. I will be taking all of the proper steps leading up to the release to assure that everything will be perfect.”

After a while, many fans were pleased with the master tracks of the new album. The first, Dirty Little Girl, featured the guitar skills of Synyster Gates from Avenged Sevenfold. After Dirty Little Girl, along came Dead End Roads and Lost Highways

During mid-March the name change from James Hart to Burn Halo left fans baffled at the sudden change. A few days later James posted this on ‘Burn Halo’s Myspace’, feel like the time has finally come to give this thing a name. I did things very backwards in a sense. Most artists usually assemble a band, play some shows and then make the album. I was granted the unique opportunity to make this album before ever playing a live show or even knowing who would be in my band. From day one the idea was to have an awesome rock band that could go out and tear up the stage. I have now found that in a few great musicians and would like to release albums and tour under the name "Burn Halo." I hope to see you on the road soon. ~James Hart”
