architecture, and when I actually get a minute or two off from school: photography, literature, antiques, cats and dogs and all animals, Paws with a Cause, movies, TV, trivia, French, naps

Television
Alias, Lost, The West Wing, Freaks and Geeks, Firefly, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The X-Files, Six Feet Under, The Cosby Show, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Countdown with Keith Oberman, anything on the Discovery Channel, DIY network, TLC or Animal Planet, and occasionally the History Channel too...sucker for antique shows, do-it-yourselfs, renovation/interior decorating, and random nerdiness like "MegaStructures"...Recently discovered: Arrested Development, Buffy the Vampire Slayer (oh so good!)
Books
Not much besides textbooks lately, but...Tolkien, John Irving, The Time Traveler's Wife, Middlesex, I Know This Much Is True, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Stones From the River, Anne of Green Gables series (yes, I still read them over and over), Harry Potter, Paul Feig's books, Stranger Than Fiction, Dancing Aztecs, Phantoms in the Brain...Just read The Ugly Dachshund, anyone who likes reading, dogs, or people should check it out. If you don't fall into one or more of those categories, you are scary. The Secret Life of Bees, Marley and Me, Devil in the White City (which is NOT just for architecture geeks or mass murderer fiends!)
Heroes
Another one of those questions I hate. We can have this discussion in person, over a hot chocolate.

About me: An enigma wrapped in a riddle. Well, not really. Actually not at all. But I love saying that.
I'm pretty straightforward. I like to work hard, but not so hard that I trigger a migraine. This has been problematic in architecture school. I like to relax, and no amount of relaxation seems to spur on a migraine, so I'm all good there.
I've turned into a major architecture geek, and I look at the world differently now, I can't help it. I have the "curse" as a prof said to us...I constantly evaluate everything around me for its design and construction properties. So if we're on a walk, and I keep looking down at the sidewalk, it's probably because I'm thinking about the concrete mixture and whether the expansion joints are doing their job, not because I'm sad or don't enjoy your company. And if I'm looking up, well, there's probably a building there of some sort that I'm evaluating internally.
Ok, those updates were annoying, sorry everyone. I'm still in school (and I think I will be forever), but sometimes I have a real job too. I got married, we bought a house, and I finally have awesome neighbors. Woo-hoo!!
Who I'd like to meet: I hate that question. I don't know. Someone who'd like to meet me back.
Matana is my twin! This is pretty cool, I love having more more thing to waste my time with! My dream job is a professional slacker! Pretty soon and we will both be LTU student stogether. Woo hoo!!!
Ok...For the THIRD try. I shall comment on your beautifully newly filled-out Myspace page. If you delete this....Urg. You don't want to know what I'll do. Okay. Let's see. I said...What did I say before?
ActionJack (Spydaddy) kicks ASS! And you kick ass for finally representing in the virtual world. I was a little bit tired of seeing an anonymous silhouette in my precious Top 8. Matana rocks! Yes, indeed. She rocks so much that I never see her:(
