When "emo" came to be, it was a genre of music. Many people have twisted the meaning over the years which has done nothing but, as we've seen on these comments, cause problems. So, yes, it no longer means just music, it's been warped to mean other things as well. However, it's not really valid to say that because it's really just a slang word when not being used in it's proper form - to describe music. It pisses me off when people think just because you see someone dress with tight jeans and drk everythingg there emo.anywho....
