About me: My name is Ray, I guess you can call me the jack of all trades. I love marketing and sales and work for the Journal Register Corporation but i also own of Turbo Tek Tuning,a well known Subaru and Mitsubishi tuning shop in the philly metro area.
My sales/ marketing job is very tough and challenging, but its also very rewarding. I enjoy training and mentoring others to be productive and successful. I enjoy taking chances and always welcome new opportunities that may arise. i love taking on different challenges with work because at the end of the day its very rewarding.
on my spare time i enjoy being around friends and family. i have alot of longterm goals one of them is obviously to continue to grow my own company and also continue to climb the ladder with work. When im not working i enjoy spending time with my wife Brooke and son Marc, it sucks that it is impossible to spend the time id love to spend with them but when we are together i make the most of it.
i was surfin around on nasioc when i came across a thread about a guy saying something about valve clearance. which got me kinda mortified for a minute or two thinkin if i even bothered to check let alone take it into consideration when i was doing my build. heres the specs on my build
new sti 2.5 all stock sb cometic head gasket. arp studs stock old 2.0 heads unpolished and unbored 280 bc cams springs, retainers etc. all new exhaust valves, shims, buckets, seals and etc on the heads.
now i recall you running the 280bc cams in your car. with upgrading to that bigger lift and duration do you think ill have a problem of it hitting the piston?
hey man hows it goin? i hope to be havin my baby tuned by you soon after the new year. just have to get some things in order first. i want to just get a basic "stage 2" tune from you before i go with the tune of my new turbo. that way a base map for the new turbo will be a no-brainer and all. when is a good time to set up a tune for what i have now? let me know!
