This is the official myspace page of singer/songwriter C.E. Chimene. C.E. got his musical journey started playing guitar at the age of 16. Within months he started to lead the youth worship at Northside Baptist Church in Conroe, TX. where he first got use to stage performances. Up until college, C.E. was a self taught guitarist. One semester he, under the encouragement of fellow guitarist and good friend Casey Conatser, decided to take a guitar class for a semester under the instruction of Terrie Flemming. After that he would return two semesters later to study Classical Guitar for three under the same instructor. During this time he studied under other instructors such as Eric Anthony and Rusty Cooley. He even had the honor of sitting in a masters class with Classical Guitar Legend Pepe Romero. C.E. has meet many interesting people one being Mason Williams, who is famous for writing Classical Gas. Also John Doan the master harp guitarist, who's studies on guitar should be researched by all. C.E. was also one of the originators of Red November. C.E. had meet Tommy Marinelli in 2006. They became great friends and started playing acoustic shows together. They split up and join different bands. After a two year break they rejoined again. Their first show was at The Corner Pub. After a very short set they knew they had something. At a meeting that night at the Conroe I.H.O.P. they discussed giving it one last go. Over a year later, Red November had quickly rose to the top of the Houston music scene with an emotion powered show. C.E. was called "The Muffin Man" then and one of the highlights of the show was when he'd dart muffins from the stage. After much work Red November is now signed with Universal Records and tours in March. C.E. is currently working on a side project with a group of fine musicians. Bassist Freddy Garza had met through his cousin, Sarah. C.E. contacted him to see if he'd be interested in teaming up, and sure enough he was. Freddy is an awesome bassist by the way. Alongside Freddy is Jeremy the guitarist, awesome guy and also a very talented musician. Jacob Milsaps is an old friend of C.E. and second to none of drums. Jacob actually played with C.E. back in the Northside days. This project is actually going to be a Christian Group. The mission is to bring a real life veiw of Christ's love through music.

Hey Chris, i just checked it out! Awesome man, i REALLY love the amount of emotion you're able to put into your vocals. It makes one really able to "feel" the music. Let me know if you post anything else and i'll check it out!
