About me:
Hi Folks, I'm an independent Producer/Engineer/Musician/Programmer who has worked at and run a variety of studios over the years including Cherokee, TON Recording Facility and Reef Recording. Check out the list to the left to see some of the bands I've worked with. These days I'm working out of Gourmet Sound in Encino. Gourmet Sound is a studio that was started by musician/producer Greg Hetson (Circle Jerks, Bad Religion) and producer/engineer Steve Kravac (NOFX,Less Than Jake, Youth Brigade) in 2005. I helped design and build the studio, and I've been working there on and off ever since-but now I'm a staff member and looking forward to making some more great records there. Gourmet has recently stepped up to the plate with a new Pro Tools HD3 rig, a pristine vintage Neumann U-67, and a great sounding drum room to add to their already impressive selection of outboard gear, guitars, amps, and fx pedals. Check out the website Gourmetsound.net for a full picture of what the studio is all about.I also do a great deal of work out of my house in beautiful downtown Long Beach, where I do mixing, overdubbing, and programming as well as mastering. I've recently started doing mastering for friends and they've been so happy with the results that I'm taking it public-hit me up for samples of my work. I have studios where I prefer to work, but I'm open to working anywhere a band feels comfortable- My Pro Tools rig is portable. I'm also available for editing(drums and vocal tuning) as well as FOH mixing, live recording, Pro Tools consulting and system installations,and studio construction/acoustic consulting.
