On Sunday May 13, 2007 My "Poppy" (my grandfather) pasted away. He is such an inspiration in my life. He is who I want to be. He taught us how to live, how to love, and how to appreciate life. I sit here and think of all that he was. More than a father, brother, Poppy, or friend, He is a Christian. His love for God came before anything else. God gave him a 360degree change in his life. I know where he is today but i am still hurting and simply want to feel that powerful grip of his hand, see the warming smile on his face, or even listen to him say I better graduate.( and I did!) As fragile as he became in the last few years, his has still been a pillar in this family. He will be greatly missed and forever loved. On day on the otherside I will hug him and walk with him forever more. Until then, Poppy, my heart will break with every thought of how you arent gonna be here for Sunday dinners, holidays, and my upcoming wedding. I love you,Poppy.
