Peter!!!! Were you reading my mind? I was walking home from Christmas shopping and thought how i must chat with my peter, then I see an envelope sitting outside our mailbox that read "Jane and Kwame" -- no last names, no apartment number; must be from peter! then, as i walked up the stairs, i was thinking, i must put on some christmas music, and alas! a special edition christmas cd from my dear Peter! how did i get to be so lucky?! hopefully i will be lucky enough to catch up with you this week...miss you!
hello my dear old friend! I was just thinking about you so I thought I would post you a little note just to say Hi!! and that I miss ya friend! Hope your doing well!!
Peter! I channeled Simone and Holiday and they agreed that they would be your homegirlz as well. They both have affinity for...=)... also, adele is going to be up here at the end of january. maybe we could see her together? miss you, and talk to you soon!
peter!!! if you do go to paris next year, and if I am able to scrounge up some funds to join you during my spring break, can we do a Nina Simone in Paris tour?????? It would be like the virginia woolf tour we did in England, but with more soul...ya' dig? =)
So funny that you myspaced me!!! I was totally looking at europe pics the other day. That was such a good semester!!! But i can't beleive that was 4yrs ago..Dang! So hows it going?
What are you reading, Jesse? I'm on Northanger Abbey. Austen has actually written a sexy bloke! Imo, an older man with gothic intimations equates to sexy. :p I'm a sucker for the look in the eye that says 'I'm gonna imprison you in my attic.' *nods*
it must be peter week, because i had another moment that i couldn't resist telling you...i was unpacking my books that I finally got back from my mom's storage and came across "carlyle's house,"-- the woolf book you gave me in england. it had a note apologizing for forgetting my brithday (thankfully, that was the last time you forgot...don't forget in two weeks, please), along with a ticket stub from the royal shakespeare company's "hamlet," because that was where you gave me the book. it was definitely a nostalgic moment--- we've had some good times together, peter; let's keep them coming!
so...i was looking up plays going on in the city, and I discovered that "Buried Child," is playing here, and I could only ask myself one question..."But why?"
What's your current book? I'm halfway through Madame de Stael's Corinne. I'm liking the tragic 'n' brilliant heroine. I'm gonna have to read Austen - Mean and Meaningless, or something similar. *foams at mouth*
