365 "Inspire a Cure for HIV."

365 is a photographic project that fuses art, science, and spirituality. It is a medium of communication and what I feel is the missing link to finding a cure for AIDS. With endless amounts of money in this world and all of the advancements brilliant scientists have brought us, why after all these years, have we not solved this problem? What's missing? I'll tell you what I think! It's the power of global thinking. So here is the run down. I take one chair that symbolizes everyone affected by HIV, around the world over the course of one year and I document with video and stills. I photograph researchers, celebrities, quantum physicists and everyday people. From San Francisco to Los Angles to New York City, from Pakistan to Africa to France, from Birmingham, Alabama to Birmingham, England. While being photographed, each person visualizes a world already in existence that is free of suffering from HIV and AIDS. The chair becomes an impartial receiver of nothing but love through inspiration with no ego to self sabotage and no past events to cloud its vision. The chair is symbol of our true selves, our soul. Our soul is what allows acceptance of pure potential without question or skepticism. Our ego's tendency to quantify everything is the source of our inability to progress. Our ego decides if something is good or bad or if someone loves us or hates us. When we let go of the need to evaluate everything in this way, we open the flood gate of pure potential. Pure potential is the essence of our life force. It's through this chair that the world has ONE voice, ONE language and only ONE state of mind, Gratitude. The state of Gratitude is our direct link to inspiration and inspiration is our direct link to a higher power, the place of pure potentiality.
