The Dalton Mountain Gang is an award winning band that plays their own brand of bluegrass implanted with a touch of old-time music. Finding inspiration from the founding fathers of the genre as well as some of today's best bluegrass musicians, the band has honed their own sound with their driving rhythms, powerful vocals, and original songs. The group has many trademarks, from Ella Naiman's old-time fused fiddlin' to Yoseff Tucker's energetic vocals and lead guitar. You'll even hear banjo player, Tom Naiman, grab the lead vocal reins and belt out emotionally-charged original and traditional songs!.... After making a name for themselves the past couple of years with their vivacious and entertaining live appearances at some of the biggest and most well known bluegrass festivals and clubs in the Western States, the Dalton Mountain Gang went into the studio to record their first album. This release, recorded by bluegrass studio veteran engineer, Eric Uglum, will give even the oldest bluegrass fan a fresh musical experience!.... Not only has the Dalton Mountain Gang been a fan favorite, they were also recognized as the 2010 NCBS Bluegrass Band of the Year. Yoseff also took the award from the same organization for Best Guitarist and Best Male Vocalist. At the Plymouth Bluegrass Festival, the band also received the 2009 Emerging Artist Award. With their future bright, the group hopes that the new album will open up new opportunities for people to get a chance to see and hear what all the hollering has been about! .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..
