Justin Clifford Rhody/ Uke of Spaces 7" (Uke of Phillips/ Uke of Spaces/Dan Beckman of Impractical Cockpit) JCr side entitled "songs" (I think to spite me.) A few short guitar and vocal songs. The Uke of Spaces side is one song about life.
CaliforniaPriests/Gaybomb- 20 minute Cassette/ 66 copies. OUT_---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Them NAtives w/ Child Bride and Social Junk 42 minutes cassette. 66 copies yellow tape in purple striped pocket with blue thread. this tape is sometimes meodic and sometimes chaotic. Like children eating blood sugar candy, there is something sweet and primal about their style. OUT

Social Junk Cassette "Fat Honey" 40 minutes- This is two sets of social junk live, they sound like they hate and love each other at the same time. Some interesting mixing going on in the studio too. Sometimes the recording is saturated with treatments on the instruments and sometimes it is totally clean the difference is immense. They switch from oraganic textures to abrasive effects all through this recording. Only 66 of these were made, and I have maybe 15 left. OUT

Zack Kouns "Natures Orphans"/ Gaybomb "A bomb A nation"
split 12" :
Kouns plays bass, guitar and the smallest form of sampling, sings and occasionally let's the reverb go beserk and feedback occurs. Desolate music from a tormented soul, even with 4800 friends on myspace.
Gaybombs play an odd kind of noise on an ancient synthesizer, which is fed through an amplifier in the basement, with the microphone picking up the signal of the amplifier as well as the basement itself. Quite a loose set of sounds, also, perhaps, involving a reel to reel recorder or a turntable. The recording quality is no doubt part of the fun, or hey even concept (how would I know), but it could perhaps be a bit better than this. A fascinating record this one, perhaps one that will pop in a blogspot in a few years as one of those lost treasures. -VITAL WEEKLY

Occasional Detroit Gaybomb (From Blastitude- OCCASIONAL DETROIT GAYBOMB LP (ISLE OF MAN) Even over here in peaceful Lotus Land USA you still have to watch for an occasional Detroit gaybomb. Here's one now in fact, a musical collaboration between Occasional Detroit (from the Detroit area of Michigan) and Gaybomb (from the Charleston area of South Carolina), pressed on purple vinyl and released with no artwork in a clear plastic sleeve by Gaybomb's Isle of Man label. The collaboration is seamless, and marks the longest I've actually sat down and listened to Occasional Detroit. I've heard them for sure on the absolutely ridiculous free-mp3-release collaboration with No Doctors called "Breast Feedin (Is What I'm Needin)," but I think the only other place I have is on YouTube (or better yet, Real Player, back in like 2002), and I think I always turn it off after about 30 seconds because it just sounds so fucked-up, and I mean that in just about every sense of the hyphen. I mean, live they do seem kind of awesome and cinematic (the latter in an early John Waters or Andy Warhol sense) but I really have a hard time understanding how to listen to the music. Is it hip hop? Is it a guy talking over noise? Are they wasted or joking? Both or neither? But there's something kinda special about this LP. When I say that the Gaybomb collabo is seamless, I mean that this sounds like a serious studio record. Even though Gaybomb sings on his records, here he lets Occasional Detroit take all the vocals, presumably so he can focus on beefing up OD's somewhat sketchy (amorphous) sound. It works - they sound more accessible and tuneful than ever on here, and without compromising their weirdness in the slightest as they mix and blend lo-fi, noise, drum & bass, hip hop, toasting, and maybe more.

400 pressed/ slik screened covers $20PPD
It's left to the Americans to provide an answer- to show how post-nihilistic culture sounds - cleverly and ridiculously recorded on Micro cassette and Mini DVD, Ironing and Gaybomb's Vinyl, and Dead Vaginas concert piece are perfect, resolve all the issues of a culture which lacks any depth in the detritus of their work... Dead Vagina's live at Lenny's is cocktail bar music with a no input mixer! - it defies a genre- gaybomb loops drumming and screams on CDr and
Vinyl - while Ironing's single LP track (Your Oxen Have Drowned - analogue feedback hipity hopity )-is just a mess...The Americans present something which is like sifting through a landfill site of waste, half eaten pizzas and plastic dolls, plastic wrappers and pig offal, we listen like modern archaeologists to the actuality of now, dead waste and rotting food, broken electrical appliances and vomit... blandly, ever so blandly rolling over pop magazines, torn children's clothes and garden waste, egg shells and hedge clippings - empty beer cans, cigarette ash coffee grounds and junk mail. superb! He Of The House's very first (of many) compilation. Nineteen tracks from twenty artists, the end result of which is possibly one of the most diverse compilations I've ever heard. From soft spoken acoustic folk to raving, churning dirge tunes; from a noisy, industrial cover of a Sonic Youth song to oldschool punk from when it was still raw, fast, and unforgiving. Powerviolence peppers the grounds where spooked whispers whinny along, and the caustic words of a madman festering in his own mind play out over perpetually plucked guitar strings. A true honour it is to work with these amazing artists, and I do hope we can keep them coming back for years.
Featuring: Zombie Battle Axe, xHaroldShitmanx, Kro & Jason "EVIL" Covelli, Nemesism, Ginny Greenteeth, Don't Move, Spiral Vertigo, Chachi On Acid, Mike Bruno, Autopia, Dead Kid Harvester, Jason "EVIL" Covelli, Karmakumulator, Chelsea Wolfe, RedSK vs. teh soup rebellion, Torturing Nurse, Sleepers, Flea McGruff

Greetings Do excuse the 'spam', but I have three new songs up on the page, each from a different upcoming album.
One from the sleepers / hellmouth split, which will be out in the next few weeks on cassette from Marygarden Tapes.
One from the first full length Sleepers album (along with the other two 'untitled' songs), also coming out on Marygarden, but on CD.
One from the collaboration album between Sleepers and Jason "EVIL" Covelli, with all words and voice by Jason, and all sounds and editing from myself.
I have been working endlessly on new material for Sleepers, and I am very excited for the progression of this project. I believe it may have even taken over Bicycle Sighs' place as my 'main' project. A lot of the albums listed on the page are still seeking homes, but I do believe I will be able to maintain a solid and consistent output, as Sleepers has unlocked something deep inside of my mind.
I am, as always, still seeking out new collaborators, in aural, literary, and visual additions.
This comment brought to you by the ancient and beloved Control + V ; may all friend adders, automated comments, and Myspace whore-bands in general be damned to eternal suffering and darkness.
As you may or may not already know, in January of 2009, I am embarking on a two month tour with a friend, Al, of the project My Cell Phone Is Better Than Your Cell Phone (http://www. myspace. com/mycellphoneisbetter). This tour will span the entire length of the United States. We are travelling by Greyhound busline. It will begin January 8th in New York and end March 3rd in Michigan. I was going to wait until the entire schedule was completely done, but as people have been procrastinating, I figured now is as good a time as any. The majority of these shows are free, but as we do not have complete control over such things all of the time, specific shows are charged at the door, though they are very few. Regardless, any donations along the way are more than appreciated, as we are doing this completely independently and out of our pockets. We will be busking at various points on the tour, recording all over the place, and have many things for purchase, to help us eat along the way.
You can read much more detailed information, including that of merchandise and many other things, in this Blog.
Please check there, to see if we are coming to a city/state/theatre near you.
I apologise if you already full well know about this tour, or if you aren’t in the United States, as this is a mass comment. Come out to a show, have fun, mope around, get intoxicated and take off your clothes while running into a snow drift. Whatever floats your Winnebago. If you can’t come out to a show, make sure every person you know comes to a show. We might forgive you then. If not, expect a three AM house visit. Thank you.
CIAN NUGENT 'Childhood, Christian Lies & Slaughter' CD Cian Nugent is a 19 year old guitar player from Dublin who combines squicky pre-war blues, Appalachian string band music, and the Takoma school into a deeply personal style. This cd documents a great live set, produced by Jozef Van Wissem.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out the music before. If you'd like you can get the free Maltese CD-R (click for download) There is also the new track "D6add9".
