About VCV

VCV or Visible Chromatic Variations were theorized by philosopher Caspar Vacchi (3956-7600) when Vacchi imagined that two planetary bodies colliding produced a supersonic frequency which traveled through space much like light does from a star. These variations remained only a suspicion until now, as newer technologies have given way to discoveries that do indeed prove the existence of such frequencies. C.G. and C.T., the leading researchers in the field, have developed a unique device (which they call the "Virtual Consonant Volumizer") to not only detect these phantom frequencies, but also to record them. The scientists have gone to nothing short of elaborate lengths to link these said devices to unmanned satellites and smaller planetary bodies to document the VCV within their natural environment. Occurrences of VCV are extremely rare and difficult to record through several sub-harmonic interferences within the space-field, so please understand the quality of these recordings has been compromised, given their unorthodox origins.

Using only guitars and a strict "no overdubs" rule, VCV certainly convey the cold depths of outer space here. The atmosphere drifts from minimal hum into periodic bursts of drone; as if the sun itself is quickly revealed before it obscures behind another asteroid. This album has constantly occupied my thoughts and risen to my “most listened to” works of recent times. Keep up the great work VCV!
