About me:
THE CLEVELAND APL HAS BEEN SAVING LIVES SINCE 1913 The Cleveland Animal Protective League's mission is to foster compassion and end animal suffering. Incorporated in 1913, we are an independent, nonprofit humane society located in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood. As a 501(c)(3) agency, we are not funded or controlled by any government or national animal welfare organization. Our animal shelter, services, and programs are made available through fundraising, donations, foundation and corporate support, and service fees.
We are committed to 100 percent placement of adoptable animals and envision a time when every friendly, healthy, homeless animal in our community can be cared for until a new family is found.
The Cleveland APL provides shelter to homeless animals relinquished by their guardians, animals that are rescued from abuse or neglect, and stray or abandoned cats. Stop in and visit the many animals we help and have available for adoption - make one of our friends one of your very best friends!
In addition to helping find homes for our wonderful animals, we also run a trap-neuter-release program to help end cat overpopulation in the community.
Who I'd like to meet:
Caring, compassionate individuals that would like to help decrease the number of homeless animals in our community. The APL is constantly in search of new volunteers, loving adopters, donors, and partnership stores to temporarily house our wonderful felines.

Thank you for the add and for all that you do for our sheltered friends! :-)
thanks for adding me to your list of friends. I got my buddy Erin here from you 4 years ago Wednesday.

Peace,
John
thanks for the add apl! this is my jack jack as seen in your 2009 calendar! (collage page)
I adopted two wonderful cat a few weeks ago. I think my Logan found a place in many hearts here and there. Even though he only has one eye, he is perfect and loving. Then there is Buttercup, she is just as tolerable as Logan with my 16month son. She gets jealous sometimes and wants more attention then she gets but that is ok with me. The two get along wonderfully and play late into the night.

Thank you APL for introducing me to my soul mate!
I love fostering!
