Formed in 1986, The Hitman Blues Band played all over the New York metro area before moving on to the UK and the rest of the US Eastern Seaboard. While the personnel have changed over the years due to touring demands (except for Russell "Hitman" Alexander), the line-up has always been top notch players with the fire and experience needed to lift up the audience. With two critically acclaimed CDs and extremely successful UK tours, The Hitman Blues Band is ready to expand into new markets throughout the US and Europe.

Bayside, in northeastern Queens, is a suburban neighborhood with city amenities and city taxes. Walk down Bell Boulevard, Bayside's crowded main thoroughfare, and it's hard to believe that just one block away are wide, green streets and one-family homes.
Bayside is part of the New York City Department of Education's district 26, the highest performing school district for grades K-9 in all of New York City. As such, many parents have forged proof of residence within Bayside, so that their kids may attend District 26 schools. The district includes 20 elementary schools and 5 middle schools. Bayside is also home to two New York City high schools: Bayside High School and Benjamin Cardozo High School.
