Bio
______________________________________________________Italian band of progressive synphonic rock, has published three cds. The first one “I giorni di Eurisko”, simply signed with the composer’s name (Angelo Santo Lombardi), follows the author’s primary instinct who gives vent to his piano solos followed by mixed progressions of Gabriellian rock and a sort of refined pop of singer-composer. The second one, “Lavori in corso”, is the album that introduces the band in the prog environment with success of sales (2007 Btf best-seller) and by criticism. In this work Angelo, after the first album experiments, shows the choise to follow the progressive path and does it making a tribute to the kind of music that just formed him artistically. The third album, “Ritratto di ballerina”, come out on september 4th 2009, is the musical expression, obviuosly in prog key, of an eruption of the author’s feelings and sensations. Positive rage and tension slip on the pentagram … And those thoughts’ track stays immortalized. -

www.mikecelona.net - Four short videos (Drift, Data Stream, Regeneration & Autumnation) edited into a suite depicting the seasonal changes in New York State as seen from both human and technological perspectives at the macro and micro levels with the two often overlapping, interfering and/or complimenting each other. As people’s senses become increasingly augmented by machines at rates previously envisioned only in science fiction stories, this project attempts to encapsulate the experience of viewing the cycle of nature through the current lens of relative technological/biological equilibrium for posterity should our cyborgian descendents ever decide to eschew one element in favor of the other in the course of their evolution. One question that arises from all of this is whether natural beauty will cease to have any meaning in a post-human world or will we simply appreciate it in new ways?
