Sw!tch-Tone was originally founded in Rowlett, Texas, United States; late 2007.
The group is a dynamic and diverse combination of runway model/singer: Sw!tch and lead-solo drummer/percussionist: Bill Simone. The artistic twosome’s inexorable sound is greatly respected just like their vast reputation.
The band is a impressively, unique combination of Concrete Blonde; Alternative-Rock, Indie, Britpop sound with Joan Jett and The Pretenders; Classic Rock, with a new age twist and style of Pink; Pop.
The Sw!tch-Tone's International album “Little Secret” helped launch the ska revival of the Rock, Alternative and Indie genres and “Spank Me Later," the third single from the album, set a record when it spent 18 weeks at the 1 spot on the top 100 Airplay, Songplanet and SoundClick charts accruing over 30 million listeners and fans in 54 countries. “Clear Blackness” the first single from the “Little Secret” album has received national airplay on over 850+ Clear Channel Radio Stations, and “Third Eye” are both in the top 100 airplay charts holding the 2 and 3 positions.
April 25th, 2009; Sw!tch-Tone returned home from their Pompano Beach Seafood and Music Festival concert, the group was forced to find a new lead-guitarist and is currently revising the “Little Secret” album, despite of all the positive reviews and worldwide distributions.
The band received honorable mention on USA Today website as "The Next Household Name" and has been given recognition from Indie Charts for being "The Best Of The Best."and will be featuring in Touch Tunes jukeboxes worldwide early 2010.
Sw!tch-Tone will be releasing their first self-debut, hard rock album in 2009-2010 which contains both Switch-Tone originals and cover songs such as; “Lita Ford” and Ozzy Osbourne’s” 1 hit song "Close My Eyes Forever," “Joan Jett and the Blackhearts - Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap,” and “Bonnie Tyler’s - It’s A Heartache.”
