We've got long history...Bears on bass and Mickey on Drums met at college and then came Ed bannard with Northern accoustic vocals ,Deriq and Michael with some dub vibes and then Lou (the first) with some luscious, surreal lyrics. This all resulted in an epic hybrid of grime, Indie, DnB, Ska and Electro...and then went on to shine and dazzle all over: The Garage, London ULU Uni, London Birmingham N.E.C Rock City, Notts Glastonbury, Avalon Stage Das Fest, Germany University of Sara Jevo, Bosnia. They have also recorded a "Live @ Maida Vale" EP recorded at Maida Vale and mastered @ THE Abbey Road Studios. After all this a few members took different path. The new skinny sumo arose and electro/calypso/dub/grime and tech was the new way forward Deriq and Raffiki now provide raw,deep dub vocals straight from the old school dancehall and famed Highness soundsytem. Michael and Bears still provide percussion and Bass, producing on a more electronic base of atari bleeping, early 90's tech and grimy bass aswell as sunny calypso, dancehall and infectious loops. Lou, the lady vocal person, has a gruff soulful voice that screams wails, chats and busts its way through hefty sets. She comes with a range of costumes...including the classic spiderman twopiece.
