10代よりブラックミュージックに親しみ、16歳からはゴスペルクワイアに所属、慶應義塾大在学中は渋谷エリアを中心にライブ出演を重ねる。
現在の主な活動は、池袋における SAK. loves “DOT” としてバンドスタイルでのライブ、SAK. ソロ名義で様々なイベントの出演、お台場ほか都内のカフェにおけるbrowncocoa としてのデュオライブ。また2007年よりインターネットラジオサイト Small Cast Radio NETWORKS でのナビゲーター（『Gospel & Organ♪cs』）や、「地球兄弟プロジェクト」参加アーティストとしても活動中。
ソロ名義楽曲の詞・曲はSAK.自身が手掛け、また’70～’90年代ソウルR&B楽曲のカヴァーを得意とする。海外在住経験は無し。
SAK. is a soul, R&B singer from Tokyo, Japan.
She grew up in Tokyo and she has belonged to a gospel choir since she was 16. While she was a student of Keio University she performed at many clubs with her band.
Now she mainly performs as SAK. Loves “DOT” (band style), SAK. (solo performance at various events) and browncocoa (duo style). Since 2007 she has her internet radio program Gospel & Organics (Japanese only) in Small Cast Radio NETWORKS. And she joins Chikyu-Kyodai Project (Earth-Brotherhood Project) since 2007.
She writes lyrics and songs on her own and also covers soul music songs. Her most influenced female artists are Whitney Houston, Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, Mary J. Blige, Yolanda Adams, Roberta Flack and so on.
