Well, I happen to be the old man of the group, (You have to guess the age... Do we really have to grow up?) I've been singing my whole life, but now it is to praise God. I give thanks to him for the gifts I have. I am married to an awesome, loving, and supportive lady. Of 7 Years.... Her name is Trina.
Some of my favorite music groups are: Disciple, Skillet, 12 Stones, Kutless, Day of Fire and okay, one secular Band... Stone Temple Pilots!!
I pretty much sing all the time. My old youth leader told me that I had a personality that attracts people, I pray that same energy will be expressed in our music and it will bring people to know Jesus. If you don't know my Jesus.......ask me. One of my favorite verses is 2 Peter 2:8 : God punished the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and this is a warning for anyone else who wants to sin!

My name is Tim Crow and I'm from Yakima, Washington. I play bass and lead guitar (not at the same time, hehe) on my worship team at Lakeshore Christian Fellowship in Fort Mill, SC. I've been playing bass and guitar for 14 years. I've been through some trying times, especially my last few years in Yakima where I definitely lost my will to live God's way and fell away from what I knew was right. But now I'm here, stronger than ever, throwing down for Jesus, and what better way than in the infamous 39 Lashes!! My Influences are Disciple, Bride, Avenged Sevenfold, Demon Hunter, Children of Bodom or any melodic heavy metal. My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 28:1 "Wicked Men flee although no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as lions"

My name is Tony DeGraw. I hail from York, South Carolina with a guitar
in my hand and a fire-breathing amplifier behind me. There will be no
one left within sound of me to ever say they never heard of Jesus
Christ. I know without the shadow of doubt that He is there with us, and
I will trust in HIM. Throughout my life I only know that there is only
ONE WAY. And when I walk through that DOORWAY, after i came from ROCK
BOTTOM, I HAVE FAITH and wait for JUDGEMENT DAY.
Mark Greutman, Drummer
This is Mark Greutman, I grew up in the small city of Oswego in upstate NY.
By day, I'm an actuary... total nerd... but once work is over, I become the drumming force behind 39 Lashes. As the newest member, I am so excited to be a part of such a rockin band. My first allegiance is to my Savior Jesus, and it is so amazing that I can spread His Word by pounding away behind a drumkit with Dave, Tim and Tony.
Musically, my inspirations have come from a number of bands over the years including: Rush, Living Sacrifice, Killswitch Engage, Primus, Dream Theater, Sound Garden ... among others.
