We were a band comprised of four friends from school, that altogether were active for around 2-3 years or so. considering how little we actually did, we were battle of the band finalists, had radio play, appeared in Kerrang and NME, and got to play in front of 2,000 people at shepherds bush empire, all with only around 30 gigs to our name in the end.
Unfortunately however, we are no longer 17/18 and everyone has their own Prioties.. the band are now either going back to education, moving abroad or working. Thankyou for the great memories, we definately won't forget them. Dave, Craig, Craig and Gez - 3AC
Doro Fulminanter Abschluss DORO's "Fear No Evil"-Tour
Zum Abschluss der "Fear No Evil"-Welttournee hat Doro Pesch noch einmal einige musikalische Freunde eingeladen, um unter dem Motto "Noisegate Christmas Metal" einen gebührenden Tourabschluss, aber auch mit Freunden und treuen Fans ein metallisches Vorweihnachtsfest zu feiern. Am Samstag, 19. Dezember, ab 16 Uhr, geben dafür DORO, GRAVE DIGGER, KRYPTERIA, SALTATIO MORTIS, INGRIMM und SISTER SIN ihre akustische Visitenkarte in der Neuen Stadthalle Langen ab.
Die Düsseldorferin Doro Pesch und ihre amerikanischen Musiker haben dafür ein spezielles "Best Of"-Programm ihrer 25-jährigen Karriere gestrickt. Darin sind auch einige musikalische Überraschungen mit Gästen geplant, die an diesem Abend sogar Live-Premiere feiern. So darf man sich bestimmt auf ein Duett mit KRYPERTIA-Sängerin Ji-In Cho freuen, die an der Hymne "Celebrate" vom aktuellen Album beteiligt war, oder auch mit SALTATIO MORTIS, für deren Song "Salome" vom aktuellen Werk "Wer Wind sät" hat Frau Pesch ein paar Gesangsbeiträge abgeliefert.
Ein fulminanter Abschluss der Gastspielreise von DORO, die einmal mehr unter Beweis gestellt hat, dass sie zu Recht das weibliche Aushängeschild der deutschen Metalszene ist. www.doropesch.com
Grave-DiggerEin weiteres deutsches Metalflaggschiff erwartet das Publikum mit GRAVE DIGGER, deren letztes Album "The Ballad Of Hangmen" sogar die Charts stürmen konnte. Die Band um Sänger Chris Boltendahl steht für klassisch teutonischen und immer zuverlässigen Heavy Metal, dem die Band bereits seit mehr als fünfundzwanzig Jahren treu geblieben ist. Aktuell hat man sich von Gitarrist Manni Schmidt getrennt und vorübergehend mit DOMAIN-Gitarrist Axel Ritt verstärkt.
