About me:

3:AM Magazineは、文学・詩・ノンフィクションのオリジナル作品、作家やミュージシャン等へのインタビュー、アート・映画・音楽・コミックスの評論などを掲載しているパリ、ロンドン発のウェブサイトです。

3:AM Magazineは2000年4月、現発行人・編集長のアンドリュー・ガリックスがパリで立ち上げました。文学では、ニューヨークのイースト・ロウアーサイドで80年代に出版された伝説の文芸誌「Between C&D」や、スコットランドの「Rebel Inc.」の伝統を受け継ぎ、カルトで先鋭的な作品を掲載しています。インタビューでは、エディィターの触角に触れたラディカルな作家やミュージシャン等を取り上げ、これまでに、サイバーパンク日本人作家ケンジ・シラトリ、デニス・クーパー、スティーブ・アーモンド、スチュアート・ホーム、ダン・ローズ、リトル・マン・テイト、ダモ・スズキ、ヨ・ラ・テンゴ、カズコ・ホーキ（フランク・チキンズ）などが登場しています。

「Whatever it is, we're against it」をスローガンに、「ブランク・ジェネレーション」や「Brutalist」に焦点を当てる3:AM Magazineの基本姿勢は徹底したポスト・パンクで、そのことは、2006年6月に発売されたアンソロジー「The Edgier Waters」にも明らかです（左記参照）。同書は、開設から5年の間に3:AM Magazineに掲載された短編、詩の中からベストな作品を選びまとめたもので、スティーブ・アーモンド、ブルース・ベンダーソン、ケンジ・シラトリ、ティム・パークスなどのほか、ソニック・ユースのサーストン・ムーア、ビリー・チャイルディッシュによる詩も収められています。2007年には、2冊目のアンソロジー「3:AM London, New York, Paris」も発刊予定です。
