Most critics would say hip hop is dead but J Mack feels the game is just evolving. This talented artist began rapping at the age of 13 years old. How it started was through email. He would email each his cousin battle raps trying to beat him. After so many emails they realized each others lyrical abilities. J Mack, along with other friends, formed the group called 3 Clapz. It first started out as a clique in high school but J Mack realized that it could be turned into a music group. J Mack released two mixtapes with fellow group members and other rap artists in Bloomington, IL. This began to get his respect for his lyrical abilities around town. But after a few complications in the group J Mack decided he needed a change in the people he did music with. After realizing his cousin, T-Millz, had developing talent they decided to go at it together. Since then J Mack has released a solo mixtape featuring T-Millz and a whole group mixtape. Right now he is currently working on more mixtapes and establishing a strong buzz in the CHI. J Mack will be holding down the city while reppin for his hometown in the 309.
