Various types of Top Ramen, the Holidays (there always seems to be one right around the corner), finding a new church ministry to plug into, white water kayaking, backpacking, finding the means to the end.

Skillet, 10 years, Lifehouse, Thousand Foot Krutch, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Ra, Jeremy Camp, Barlow Girl, Jars of Clay, Third Day, and for some reason this year Christmas music didn't bother me (it was actually kindof relaxing). I'll listen to just about anything thats good and at least has a positive under tone. When I'm working out or sparring though I like music that will get the blood moving.

Television
I don't watch much TV. What I do watch is RAW, House, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Family Guy, Metalocalypse (that show just...wow). That amounts to about 3 hours of TV a week. All time favorite shows.

About me: My name is Rick, as the site becomes more and more developed you will all get to know me, my personality and what and who I am better. As many of you know I am actively involved in Ultimate Championship Wrestling based out of Calvary Christian Center in Yuba City. Hop over to Dave Rockwell's simple page and check it out.
I enjoy wrestling, whether its jiu jitsu or UCW, the fact that I can do it as a ministry to uplift God and help people develop a relationship with Him makes me extremely happy with what I do.
I decided to go into family therapy and work on family structure and support within the church. I belive the cohesive family unit and the idea of lifelong monogamy is becoming less valued and I want to help restore that value. I also want to help pastors who are having rough times balancing service and family, and help resolve the high burn-out rate of pastoral staff. Whether that means intense therapy or just being there to comfort the grieving, I feel this is my call to ministry, and I intend to follow through.
I'm a very avid outdoorsman. Whether its hiking, backpacking, fishing, hunting, rock climbing, or whitewater kayaking (which usually encompassing all of those things when I get thrown from my kayak) I love being outdoors and enjoying God's creation. Except snow. I dont like snow.
So I hope you can see a theme to my passions. I'm radical about what I do and intend not to waste a breath or second in service to God. As such there is an open invite anytime of the day, anyday of the week to email me and talk to me about your questions about Jesus. Whether you are a practicing Christian who wants to talk and discuss, or someone who doesnt know Jesus and wants to learn more about him myspace, email and time are yours.
This site, I plan, will become an intimate haven for my ideas. My frustrations and joys, my success' and failures will all be exposed on this page. It is a way for me to focus my thoughts and guide myself prayerfully through my cognitive process, as well as gain feedback from all of you!
