WHAT'S UP WITH THOSE WEIRD DRUM THINGYS?
Anyone who knows us or has seen us play knows that I bang sticks on giant metal trash cans on stage. These are called steel drums- and the specific set that I play are called double tenors (doubles because there are two drums, and tenor because they have a slightly higher register). They are made out of 55 gallon oil barrels which are hand-crafted into the beautiful steel drums. I am endorsed by Smarty Pans, the first West coast steel drum supplier and manufacturer. If you have any more questions or want to know more, let me know and I'll be happy to answer.
