The History of 3Degrees
It is said that everyone on Earth is separated by at most six degrees of separation. It is our belief that like-minded individuals are separated by only three.
In 1999, three DJ’s and three promoters came together with the intention of uniting Chicago's underground music scene. Joined by friendship and a common love for house music, they arranged for their closest friends to meet on Wednesday nights to converse, lounge, and dance to some of the world's most innovative house music. Membership cards were issued to ensure that only those who were introduced by friends would attend, keeping true to the ideal of 3°.
As 1999 drew to a close the intimate group of friends grew in numbers but still managed to maintain the atmosphere of cohesive friendship and hospitality. A monthly newsletter was circulated to each member to ensure that the intimacy of 3° would not be lost with growing membership. Each month a personalized letter was sent to thousands of new members, and soon evolved into a weekly email letter designed to nurture old connections and bridge new ones as our family grew.
The new millennium brought new partners and new ideas. A monthly 3° Foundation Party was created in San Francisco to meet demand on the west coast. In 2003 a Foundation Party started in Washington, D.C. Annual parties at the Winter Music Conference in Miami created the tradition of the Some Call it House… We Call it Home Tour, which has traveled all over the United States, Canada, Egypt and Singapore. The Some Call it House… We Call it Home Tour has helped build connections with some of North America’s most prestigious and soulful house music families and has exposed the 3° idea to thousands of individuals globally.
Now in its eight year of existence, what started in a tiny club in Chicago has now grown to touch the lives of thousands of people around the globe. 3° currently hosts art exhibitions, community speaking events, and a variety of restaurant and entertainment promotions. 3° is a vast network of like-minded individuals with surprising connections and delightful benefits.
2008 will see massive new changes and developments, including originally produced music, expanded national tours, media coverage, and new additions to the 3° family.
We invite you to become a member so that you too can share in the joys of living in a world connected by mutual friends. 3° reminds you that we are not alone and neither are you. So let’s celebrate!

WOW, what a classic!! New french producers craft this amazing soul track featuring mixes from Stereo Mutants & Keith Thompson.
Rebound is a beautifully crafted house track that oozes soul in all it’s forms, Nassau are Thomas Deschamps & Didier Limonet, with previous releases on Soulfuric and Yellow Productions and their recent remix of Rachel Claudio these guy’s are serious new contenders in the house scene. Krista wrote and perfomed the vocal which compliments the production perfectly... To finish off the package the Stereo Mutants turn in 2 mixes for those deeper dancefloor moments and Keith Thompson gets to turn in a special little mix too….
Thanks 4 The Support. Staying Alive. Best Regards . Didier Limonet Member of Nassau.
