Founded in 2008, 3-D has begun to “rock” Mohave County and outlying areas! Members of the band: Skip Anderson (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Jim Ilgenfritz (Bassist/Vocals), and Rob Carder (Drums/Vocals) have many years of combined Professional Music and Performance Experience. Their diverse style has been compared to Fuel, Stevie Wonder, Saliva, Lenny Kravitz, Godsmack, The Commodores, Metallica, and Sammy Hagar.
Skip Anderson has played with “DNA”, “Anthem”, “13th Floor”, and “13th Vision”; throughout Las Vegas, Laughlin, Parker Paige, Lake Havasu, and Victorville, to name a few. He has written, arranged and co-produced a single (with Darrell Wegcheid) titled “Recurring Nightmares” ©2000. Some of Skip Anderson’s musical influences include: Satriani, Jimi Hendrix, Steve Vai, Jesse Johnson, Prince, and Jimmy Nolan of James Brown.
Rob Carder has played with Reba McIntyre in 1993, a Lenny Kravitz tribute band called “Mama Said”, a Prince Tribute Band called “Cashmere”, “Little Sister”, and a 70’s Disco Group called “Love Train”, Rob has also played at the Mandalay Bay, “House of Blues”. Rob also played Drums in the Hit Recorded Drums on the track, “Heroes” (1980’s) by Vegas the Band. Rob's musical influences include: Motley Crue, Kiss, and Rush,Godsmack, Metallica. “
Jim Ilgenfritz has played with “Anthem, 13th Floor, White Liez, Knucklehead, and toured the Midwest and was the Opening Act for Ted Nugent, Areo Speedwagon in his Band “Wizzard”. A few locations that Jim has performed: Mohave County, Prescott, Sedona, and Flagstaff. Jim’s Musical Influences are derived from Jack Bruce in Cream, John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin, Geddy Lee from Rush. Jim’s musical genre includes: Progressive Rock, Heavy Metal, and Jazz.
