Avi Rose a.k.a. 3 Eyes was born to the beat of the drum and grew up on hip-hop. While listening New York radio stations in the early 1990's, he started making mix tapes, "pause button" style. By the age of 15, he bought a pair of Technics 1200 turntables and a mixer. A year later he was deejaying in clubs playing hip-hop, breakbeats, house, and jungle/drum and bass. 3 Eyes also organized his own events where friends and local deejays would mix it up. His picture was used on the cover of the book, "Generation Ecstasy" by Simon Reynolds. Towards the late 1990's, he became more interested with scratching, and how to incorporate it into his dj sets. 3 Eyes then joined forces with three friends as the Architechs Scratch Crew, who performed live with turntable instrumentation. They were quoted in ATM Magazine as "a tough act to follow". 3 Eyes continues to constantly improve his dj skills and presently has been focused on audio production. He has played along side many top notch acts and is someone to look out for in the future, now.
