3 Foot Ninja are a young indie/punk trio based in the wilds of the North Yorks Moors/Middlesbrough area. They've steadily built up a reputation for being one the region's most exciting and talented outfits and for their energetic live shows. 3 Foot Ninja have played at festivals such as Middlesbrough Music Live and Stockton Riverside Fringe Festival and have played at a range of high profile venues, including Manchester Academy, Newcastle Academy, Leeds Cockpit, Middlesbrough Empire, Birmingham Barfly, Middlesbrough Town Hall, York Fibbers, in addition to dozens of pub and club gigs: Inside Out, Darlington, the Arc, Stockton, the Studio, Hartlepool, The Junction, York, Georgian Theatre, Stockton etc etc.
They supported The Subways during a UK tour last year and have played alongside bands such as The Fratellis, The Buzzcocks, Cage The Elephant, Pete and the Pirates, British Sea Power, The Airborne Toxic Event and General Fiasco.
3FN have also had airplay on BBC Radio One and are recieving substantial local radio play, including a live session for BBC Radio York Introducing, and were tipped by the CMU Music Network as a band to watch out for in 2009.
"Nobody can deny that these lads have created a collection of songs meant for sweaty clubs and big festival gigs, but with that, they have seamlessly managed to keep a commercial appeal that will see them soar beyond those limits" - Talk Magazine
"3FN supply blinding songs of rage, determination and power. Catchy, fast and memorable. On their way to the top!" - Musicians Union
"Hammering out their guitar-fuelled indie punk the 3-piece from the heart of the North Yorks Moors were sensational. Real dynamic stage presence and what a finale, after a set of their own high octane material they laid waste to The Prodigy with all the teenage angst in Japan." - Evening Gazette
"They're great! Sound really good and I thoroughly recommend seeing them live" - Matt Seymour, BBC Radio York Introducing
"Cracking, thunderous stuff!" - Bob Fischer, BBC Tees
