is a sketch group comprised of character actresses & comedy writers: Anne-Marie Draycott & Charity Trimm.
What are we up to now?
Right now we are currently writing for series 2 of BBC3’s sketch show ’Scallywagga’ and have just finished writing and performing in a project for the launch of BBC Online’s new comedy site - ’Comedy Extras’ produced by Monkey Productions.
We are also writing a TV comedy drama based on our sketch 'Pregnant Pause'.
Are you bad at interviews? Check it out the sketch below... (Apparently it could save your career!!)
Finally as always, we thank you for your support and hope you keep coming back for more comedy capers.
Anne-Marie & Charity,
3 Girls in a Boat
Etkilendikleri
Anne-Marie wishes she could be the 6th member of Girls Aloud & Charity does a killer version of Madonna's 'Strung Up' - yes, she actually kills a member of the audience with her thongified leotard.
TV Programları
We've had a number of small roles - mainly in our own sketches. Anne-Marie's arm was once on the Hollyoaks and a tarot card reader once predicted Charity would be in Emmerdale...
Hakkımda: About 3 Girls in a Boat... for a start, why are there only 2 of them?
Well...3 Girls in a Boat, started life as a comedy trio on The Battersea Barge, London. When the 3rd Girl jumped ship, Anne-Marie Draycott & Charity Trimm considered a name change but with a 3 Girls in a Boat logo, website and painfully acquired tattoos already paid for, they decided to stick with it.
Since working together they have presented episodes of MyTv:Homegrown for Trouble TV and regularly had their sketches featured on the show. They regularly upload content onto Myspace & YouTube and are steadily building an online community of supporters. They have also hosted monthly comedy residencies in London's West End at Lowdown at the Albany, The Comedy Pub (Piccadilly) and even on the Thames on The Battersea Barge as well as performing at other shows on the comedy circuit bringing their unique sketches, character comedy and stand-up to audiences around the UK.
Anne-Marie & Charity are passionately committed to creating and developing new comedy and are now writing ideas and scripts for TV, all of which strongly feature strong comedy characters. In January they took part in a BBC Comedy North / BBC Writers Room writing residency to develop pitches for low cost comedy ideas. They are also developing Pregnant Pause a TV comedy drama and have just written and performed in a project produced by Monkey that forms part of the new BBC Online Comedy Website, Comedy Extras.
Yorkshire lasses at heart, Anne-Marie & Charity force their unique Northern charm on all and sundry. Incidentally Charity has never been completely comfortable with the name 3 Girls in a Boat due to her profound fear of deep water and drowning. She is unable to fully relax fully in the bath and wears a life jacket in the shower. Anne-Marie loves the name and is comfortable with the thought of drowning, but bathing-wise she prefers a half filled sink and a wet flannel.
Thanks so much for being my friend, 3 Girls in a Boat!

I write mostly about farming/gardening and stock/bond investing, but also anything else that rattles my cage. Please stop by when you get a chance.

Energy giant E. On has submitted plans to build a "green" power station on the site of Sheffield's famous Tinsley Towers after they are demolished. The biomass facility would be developed at Blackburn Meadows next to the M1 at a cost of £60m.
The renewable energy plant would produce enough power for about 40,000 homes by burning recycled wood and crops like willow and elephant grass.
If the scheme is approved, construction is expected to start early in 2009.
The first power would be produced in 2011.
No date has yet been set for the demolition of the 250ft (76m) cooling towers.
