.. The members that make up Inside Out Stings all met at the Minnesota State University of Moorhead studying music performance and industry. In their repertoire they play a mixture of rock, bluegrass, jazz and folk. Their original music compiles of styles ranging from jazz fusion instrumentals to rock, bluegrass, folk songs, and pop. They also play a wide variety of cover songs that have inspired the music they write. Their catalog includes songs by John Scofield, Miles Davis, The Pixies, Radiohead, The Kings of Leon, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Neutral Milk Hotel, Wood Brothers, Van Morrison, O.C.M.S., Umphrey's McGee, the Avett Brothers. and .357 String Band After gigging consistently since the summer of 2008, they've had the pleasure of sharing the stage with many artists from around the region and country such as Pert Near Sandstone, The Johnson Family Band, Boys 'N' the Barrels, The Fillers, Cornmeal, Sleeping in Gethsemane, O' Death, .357 String Band, Dead Man Winter, Elephant Revival, Bettina Villamil, Soveriegn Sect, O' Fosho, and Roster McCabe. They have made a name for themselves in the Fargo/Moorhead area and are working on establishing their name in the Midwest. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..

Bio:

.. We all went to school at MSUM in Moorhead studying music industry and performance. In our repertoire we play a mixture of rock, bluegrass, jazz and folk. Our original music complies of styles ranging from jazz fusion type instrumentals to various songs that range from folk, to rock, bluegrass, and pop. We also play a huge variety of cover songs that have inspired the music we write. Everything from traditional bluegrass tunes, to music by John Scofield and Miles Davis, to rock groups like The Pixies and Radiohead, The Beatles, Wood Brothers, O.C.M.S., Umphrey's McGee, and the Avett Brothers. After gigging consistently for the past 2 years, we've played with many bands traveling around the country stopping through the midwest. We have made a name for ourselves in the Fargo/Moorhead area and been working on establishing our name in the midwest.
