Three Legged Dog was formed in Oxford, Mississippi by Jay Lang, Neil Conway, in 1999. The whole concept was to play old pre-war blues on electric guitars primarily because jay had just bought one. With in a few months Cedric Burnside joined the group to keep busy while off the road with his other two bands RL Burside and the Kenny Brown Band. Seven years later Jay has taken the band to New Orleans
