08.20.06 - 3 Mile Walk proudly took first place in last year's Newport Beach Battle of the Bands competition. Over 80 artists requested competition forms and out of all the applicants, only 9 bands were chosen to compete. There were some very talented performers that day and 3 Mile Walk feels very honored to receive 1st place among such great artists.

3 Mile Walk is an original Modern Rock / Alternative band from Orange County, CA. Taking three guys' diverse genre influences ranging from R&B to Progressive Rock to Alternative, the resulting sound integrates everything into a unique expression of Modern Rock, maintaining a strong melodic foundation under catchy riffs and hooks.
3MW's writing style can be exploratory, taking unconventional approaches to chord and melody structures at times, yet the clever weaving of rhythms and harmonies creates a catchy backdrop for lyrics that are written to inspire - Music that provokes thought and introspection, expressing life experiences through a crafty blend of soaring vocals, harmonious guitars, and a rock-solid rhythm backbone.
