I can't believe it's not butter! Can't fucking believe it. No matter how fucking hard you try, you can never believe it's not god dammed butter. I put the shit on my pancackes and I was sure it was butter. Can you believe this shit? They fucking tricked my ass. I was pretty fucking sure this fucking shit was butter. Where can a brother get some fucking butter? Can you believe it's not butter? Fuck. Fake butter. . No, really, I really can't believe this is not butter. I know. Wow. Tastes like salt. Thanks. RB.
I still check too! Nelson, do you know where I can meet Hot New Singles? Or maybe a way to refinance my mortgage? Myspace just isn't any help at all it seems.
So sad to have missed it! Sounds like it was excellent fun!!! The vids are blurry but ya sound terrific.
Of course now I have my vacation starting on June 24 and will be back in the old hood! I already asked Eric if a 4th show could be tacked on that week and was shot down. Better luck next time, baby.
I'd like to thank everyone for being such nifty fellows. It was by far the best weekend I've had in a long time and already miss the quick wit and the smattering of words and jokes that I don't understand. Also thanks to all who held my ass up during the crowdsurfing cowbell solo without inserting the alien dream probe. Let's do it again! SOON! (ok, not too soon, I'm still hungover)
Wow! Thanks to all the fans who put video up on YouTube! Watching it was just like being there! Oh wait, not quite...I didn't lose 10 lbs from sweating, didn't stink of beer spilled on me, and my knees don't ache from the dancing...damn...Well, I still appreciate it!
So, I see that there was filming going on there...is this for a soon-to-be-released video or was it just for posterity??
I was at the Fine Line on Saturday. That was my first 3 Minute Hero show. It was amazing. I sincerely hope that you can get back together more often. I am convinced that there is no other musical experience like it. Maybe you could make an annual reunion show?
Thanks to all of the band members for putting on such a great show. I hope to see you on stage again soon.
Hmm... the oddest thing. Beer actually tastes BETTER out of an offical 3mh pint glass! So, same time next year? Seriously though, thanks guys. Thanks Jonathon. You did an amazing thing here! I bet even you guys were surprised by how insanely great it all went. *sadly hums "Little Dog", drinks beer, wipes nose on awesome new 3MH shirt.*
Scene: Eight short days ago, I was working at Grand Old Day. Grand Old Day isn't fun anymore when you *have* to be there. Saving the world... one corn dog stand at a time... I was so tired... my feet felt like they were on fire... I was just about done - almost to my car... so close! Just then I got an "urgent" call to check a place that was eight whole blocks away. I sighed. I may have let a single tear escape... So I went to check it out... It was nothing. I was about to admit defeat when I looked down, and there - on the sidewalk - was a wet, dirty, torn flyer announcing 3 Minute Hero reunion shows. Well, Boy Howdy! That sure turned my day upside down (finally - right side up!).
Thanks for a fantastic couple of shows this past weekend. I haven't had so much fun in at least a month ;)
Don't you think there should be reunion shows *every* year? I do.
